Refund & Cancellation
Last updated September 2026. Written in plain English — if anything's unclear, just ask.
Our aim
We want you to love your website. If something isn't right, tell us early and we'll do our best to fix it before it ever comes to refunds.
1. Your deposit
Your deposit books your project slot. If you cancel before we've started any design work, we'll refund your deposit in full.
Once design work has started, the deposit covers that work and isn't refundable. If you cancel part-way through a project, we'll only invoice the balance for work actually completed, based on our hourly rate, and never more than your agreed price.
2. The 14-day review period
When we deliver your finished site, you have 14 days to review it and ask for adjustments within the agreed scope. We'll make those changes free of charge.
If we genuinely can't deliver what was agreed in your contract, and we can't agree a solution within the review period, you can cancel in writing and we'll refund any balance you've paid for the part we couldn't deliver.
3. Final payments
The final balance is paid after you've approved the finished work, so once you've approved it and it's gone live, the final payment isn't refundable.
4. Support plans and extra work
Support plans can be cancelled at any time before the next billing date. We don't refund part-months, and unused changes time doesn't roll over.
Extra work is quoted and paid upfront. If we can't deliver a piece of extra work we've been paid for, we'll refund that payment in full.
5. Consumers
If you're buying as an individual rather than a business, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing to the contract. If you asked us to start within that time, we'll deduct the value of work already done. This policy doesn't affect your statutory rights.
6. How to cancel or ask for a refund
Email info@deluxecreations.co.uk with your name and project. We'll confirm within 1 working day, and any refund is paid within 14 days to the account you paid from.
